At MyHomeCare, we are recruiting registered general/paediatric nurses to join our team in Delvin, Westmeath.
The role involves working one-on-one with a child in their own home.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working one-on-one with children in their own home and would also be a compassionate and reliable individual capable of working on their own initiative.
We currently have 30 hours per week available, Monday to Saturday.
Shift pattern: Monday - Saturday, 7am-10am & 5pm-9pm

Requirements for My Homecare Registered Nurses:
- Current and in-date NMBI pin.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Willingness to undergo any required training.
- Garda vetting is required for all nurses.
- Willing to register with the INMO or an affiliated union.
- Full immunizations and vaccination history must be provided.
My Homecare Duties include:
- Medication management.
- Seizure management, including administration of buccal midazolam if required.
- Nebulizer management.
- Pain management.
- Peg feeding.
- Care of children with complex needs/disabilities.
- Airway management.
- Suctioning.
- Moving and handling, hoist, and re-positioning.
- Skin integrity management.
- Maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Working in a home environment as a lone worker.
- Infection control and disposal of clinical waste.
- CPR training.
Knowledge areas for My Homecare Nurses include:
- Medication administration.
