IT Project Manager Contract Role Cork ( Hybrid 2-3 days onsite)My client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. The role requires a person skilled in project delivery within global, matrixed organisations, is who highly experienced at leading multiple workstreams and comfortable working across cultures and time zones. The preferred candidate is one with prior technical experience of infrastructure (Network & Compute), SAP based warehouse management systems and history of working in a manufacturing environment.The Role:Create projects, drive project planning, design & execution phases, manage Stage GatesManage project risks, stakeholder management, escalations, presenting to steering teamsProduce weekly status reports, governance decks and other project comms/updatesProduce comprehensive meeting minutes, action plans and manage follow up activitiesManage cross-functional teams to ensure all updated are provided in a timely mannerConsulting support across multiple sites to other project managers, or staff performing a PM function through project lifecycleManage project pipelines and inter-dependencies IT PMO/portfolio forumsEngagement with Global Project Management Office and Planning/Strategy teams on new initiatives, policies and procedures, socializing and integrating those back into the company.Supporting Project Management Audit ControlsHave You:7+ years of related IT Project Management experience, leading projectsStrong experience in Waterfall Project Management Methodology and Agile Project Management MethodologyStrong experienced in managing multiple projects, stakeholder management, presenting to leadership teamsExperience in Project Management tools (MS Project, Office 365 applications, Project & Portfolio tools)Comfortable using of Azure Dev Ops (ADO)Knowledge and technical understanding of IT Delivery projects, including Compute, Network, Software SolutionsProven ability to manage business complexity and manage multiple priorities.Ability to influence and align teams in a matrix and virtual environment.Project Management qualification required (PMI, PMP)Experience with leading and mentoring both project and business validation phases of workAn ability to extract or identify IT related asks / risks through discussions with cross functional or site-based teams (remote and local) without prior knowledge of full scope or specific technical expertise.Experience of matrixed, global organisationsFamiliar with the governance and reporting requirements associated with regulated industries, such as SOXAbility to directly manage multiple projects, while engaging with global PMO strategies/practicesIf you would like to discuss this vacancy further in confidence, please send your profile to-Berkley Business & Technology is a specialist consultancy, recruiting professionals for organizations throughout Ireland, UK & Europe; for more information go to www.berkley-
