About the Role
As an Associate Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass planning, design, and project management for construction projects. This includes conducting feasibility studies and technical site investigations to determine project viability, risk assessment, environmental impact analysis, and ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers, managing project progress, and collaborating with professionals such as architects and clients to discuss project requirements.
Requirements for Success
To excel in this position, you will require a Degree or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering, accompanied by 10 years' experience in a design office working on medium to large-scale projects, including residential and commercial developments. Proficiency in REVIT/BIM and a successful track record of partnering with clients and contractors are essential. A full driving license and transport are required for occasional site visits, while previous Irish experience and civil engineering proficiency, particularly in drainage, traffic engineering, and siteworks, are highly desirable.
