Job Description: A progressive small animal veterinary practice in Dundalk, Co. Louth, is seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team.

The Role Position: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Contract: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days) Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 per annum Additional Benefits: No out-of-hours (OOH), Sundays, or Bank Holidays This position presents an excellent chance to become part of a forward-thinking and supportive team that values work-life balance and professional development.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Conducting clinical consultations within a first opinion practice setting.
Carrying out clinical procedures and routine diagnostics (x-rays, ear examinations, medical case workups, etc.).
All eligible candidates must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
At least 12 months of experience in first opinion practice is preferable.
New graduates who are confident in basic surgical procedures are encouraged to apply.
Must be an organized individual with excellent communication skills.
Must be a team player who can collaborate effectively within a professional veterinary team.
