We are in an accelerated growth phase and seeking a highly motivated, accomplished, and driven Senior Cloud QA Test Engineer to join our expanding team. As part of a collaborative cross‑functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, you will work on cutting-edge technologies and products, contributing from conception to deployment.
Responsibilities
Help support post‑customer site issues verification.
Work with FAE & CE team members to troubleshoot and identify issues.
Develop detailed test plans and execute test cases through automation and manual testing.
Write integration tests for backend applications and tests for RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
Work with cross‑functional teams on a daily basis.
Project‑management testing priorities.
Participate in a weekly project & bug triage meeting.
Communicate with stakeholders if additional testing time is required.
Debug cloud backend, Kubernetes, and microservices for cluster-related issues.
Design and execute test plans for applications leveraging AWS microservices (e.g., Lambda, SQS, API Gateway), ensuring services meet reliability, scalability, and performance requirements.
Apply a basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts to monitor application health and deployment status, assisting in debugging and triage of environment-related issues in containerized systems.
Utilize debugging tools and logs (cloud-based and local) to efficiently identify, reproduce, and document defects within complex, distributed systems, providing clear root‑cause analysis to development teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud testing and automated test automation of UI/API testing.
Excellent knowledge of test methodologies.
Good knowledge of Web/UI testing and test automation (preferably using the Playwright framework with Python).
Familiarity with common test frameworks such as Pytest or similar.
Experience with UI automation tools – Selenium, Playwright.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes-based infrastructure and Docker.
Experience with Kafka or similar technology.
Familiarity with Linux command line and knowledge of shell scripting.
Good debugging skills, experience in identifying root causes of defects through thorough analysis and debugging.
Experience with design and implementation of test tools for automation; ability to develop and improve automation scripts.
Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Experience working with customers directly.
Automotive testing experience.
Possess working knowledge of Kubernetes (required).
