We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of major Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Infrastructure, Commercial & Residential projects based in Dublin.
Role Overview
The Senior Planner will be responsible for the development, management, and monitoring of project programmes on large-scale data centre developments. This role requires strong planning expertise, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to provide forward‑looking insights that support project certainty and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Development & Reporting
Prepare detailed contract and project programmes.
Produce monthly progress reports and present schedule updates to the wider project team.
Monitor outputs, trends, and resource needs to strengthen the planning department’s knowledge base.
Tender & Construction Support
Complete all scheduling and reporting requirements for tender submissions and live contracts.
Ensure all planning deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Project Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with the project delivery team on all scheduling‑related activities.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain.
Planning Reviews & Risk Mitigation
Conduct short‑ and medium‑term planning reviews to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Challenge assumptions, explore alternative construction approaches, and contribute to continuous improvement across the project.
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Relevant third‑level degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline).
5+ years’ industry experience.
Proven planning and scheduling experience on Data Centre projects.
Technical Competencies
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
