Mechanical Project Manager – Data Centre ProjectsGemPool Recruitment, on behalf of our client in the data centre industry, is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of practical noise reduction solutions within data centre construction and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage projects end-to-end in a supportive, collaborative environment within a growing data centre organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the delivery of noise reduction solutions for mid-sized data centre projects.Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure timely and efficient completion.Act as a point of contact between clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.Support procurement activities, vendor coordination, and contract administration.Provide project updates and performance reports to senior management.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Identify risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.Contribute to process improvements and practical project delivery innovations.Requirements3-5 years’ experience managing industrial or data centre projects.Technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure (mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, electrical systems).Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in project management tools and basic methodologies.Understanding of construction contracts.Degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline (preferred).Experience on data centre projects (hyperscale or colocation experience is a plus, not essential).Awareness of sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency practices.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Location: Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandSalary: €80,000 - €85,000 per annumContact: tanisha.barkakaty@gempool.ie
