Joining Collins McNicholas Recruitment as a Civil Engineer with our client, the leading Maintenance contractor for Motorways and National Roads in Ireland.
The role involves driving health and safety excellence across all activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
A key aspect of this position will be managing packages of works, incorporating direct labour and subcontractors, and optimising plant, labour, and material usage to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee site setting-out and supervision processes
* Plan and coordinate teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively
* Prepare comprehensive project proposals and budget estimates
* Foster strong relationships with Local Authorities, TII Representatives, and key stakeholders
* E nsure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
* Manage documentation, reports, and compliance records accurately
* M onitor subcontractor performance and maintain quality control measures
* Represent the company at stakeholder meetings and client engagements
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, or related field
* Experience in Civil Engineering, Road Maintenance, or Highways Projects
* Knowledge of TII Standards, Traffic Management, and Infrastructure Regulations
* Strong project management and budgeting skills
* Excellent communication, planning, and reporting abilities
* IT proficiency and a full driving license
