THE COMPANY:
Our client is a truly global medical device manufacturer with a strong presence across multiple clinical disciplines. Their renal division specialises in a comprehensive portfolio of continuous renal replacement equipment, consumables and support services, and they are widely regarded as a market leader in this space. With continued growth across the Irish market, they are now looking to add a Clinical Therapy Specialist to support and expand their footprint across South and Southwest Ireland.
THE ROLE:
This is a specialist clinical field role, working closely alongside the Business Development Manager and reporting into the National Clinical Manager. Your primary focus will be on driving optimisation and increased usage of the renal portfolio across your territory through clinical education, training, and hands‑on support.
You will work directly with clinicians across renal, ITU and ICU environments — supporting product trials and implementations, delivering training, and acting as a trusted clinical resource within your accounts. While this is not a direct sales role, it carries commercial KPIs and targets, meaning a clinical background combined with some commercial awareness is essential.
This is a role where you will have a genuine and tangible impact on patient outcomes and clinical practice — working with premium products that carry real benefits for both clinicians and patients.
THE PERSON:
Due to the highly specialist nature of this role, we are ideally looking for candidates with a renal nursing background. Strong ICU or ITU clinicians with some commercial or industry experience will also be considered.
You must hold an active NMBI PIN. You should be confident engaging with clinical stakeholders at specialist level, comfortable working autonomously in the field, and motivated by both clinical impact and commercial performance. Strong communication skills and a passion for education and clinical development are essential.
THE PACKAGE:
Base Salary: €45,000 – €50,000 (DOE)
Bonus: 30% uncapped
