Our purpose is to nourish the world, while safeguarding our environment for future generationsRole ProfileAtemporary vacancy has arisen for a Payments Specialist within the Milk Centre of Excellence, based in Abbey Quarter, Kilkenny, and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager. The Milk Centre of Excellence is responsible for managing all aspects of supplier milk payments (including delivery of necessary IT enhancements), supplier analytics & statistics (including support to milk forecasting function) and delivery of all Innovative new supplier initiatives (including supplier financial solutions).The purpose of this role is to manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the supplier milk payments, including the accurate and timely delivery of payments to our milk suppliers on a bi-monthly basisResponsibilitiesAccurate and on-time payments to milk suppliers on a bi-monthly basisLiaise with Milk Pool Development in connection with milk collections, milk quality adjustments and deductions from suppliersComplete milk valuations for Interim and final milk valuations.Process existing, seasonal and new milk schemes as part of milk valuation.Preparation of monthly accrual for wholemilk purchasesPreparation of monthly final charge for wholemilk purchasesOther valuation and payment processing requirements for Milk CoESupport the processing of third party deductionsSupport management in executing ad hoc reporting and analysisRequirementsQualified/part- qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.Experience in Audit and Compliance beneficialExcellent IT skills including good command of ExcelKnowledge of SAP and Blackline is desirableExceptional analytical skills; detail oriented and well organizedExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levelsMotivated, with a drive to improve process & developmentKnowledge and understanding of dairy/agricultural industry advantageousWe offerHybrid workingFree parking incl.
