Job Title: Senior Electrical Maintenance Specialist
The Senior Electrical Maintenance Specialist is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring optimal system performance and adhering to safety standards. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a team of skilled electricians.
* Lead and direct a team of highly qualified electricians in performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades on electrical equipment such as PLCs, instrumentation, and variable speed drives.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance procedures and schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Evaluate and improve existing maintenance activities to optimize system efficiency and reduce costs.
* Collaborate with other departments to identify and address electrical system issues, provide expert advice, and participate in quality control initiatives.
Requirements:
* Possess extensive knowledge and experience in electrical systems, including switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, AC and DC voltage systems.
* Demonstrate excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
* Hold a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent qualification, with ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
* Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
