The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the evaluation, execution, and integration of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Elgin's growth strategy and gain exposure to high-impact corporate finance projects. What you will do:Assist in preparing presentations and materials for internal committees and external stakeholders.Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets as part of ongoing management of the teams central database.Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess potential opportunities.Support the development and refinement of the company's platform model to ensure shareholders receive timely and transparent quarterly valuation updates.Conduct valuation analyses using DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company methods.Support negotiations and deal structuring activities.Support due diligence efforts by analyzing financial statements, operational metrics, and legal documentation.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors (legal, technical, tax, accounting).Your profileWhat you will need:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master's or CFA a plus).1-3 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, private equity, renewable energy finance, or a similar role.Strong financial modelling and analytical skills; familiarity with renewables-specific metrics and project finance structures is a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Passion for sustainability and the energy transition.About usElgin is a leading international solar & storage company, bringing projects from origination through development to energisation.
