POSTS: PERMANENT PART-TIME SOCIAL CARE WORKERS
* 1 X Permanent Part‑Time – 70 hours per fortnight
* 1 X Permanent Part‑Time – 56 hours per fortnight
Hyde Adult Services
Locations: Roscommon Town, Kilteevan, Athleague, Tremane/Rahara. Ref: 91227.
Staff will be allocated to residential/respite/day settings, community services or an individual's home, and may change location based on service needs.
Role
Social Care Workers provide key supportive and advocative care for adults, assisting in person‑centred planning, supporting informed choices, promoting independence, encouraging community participation,uke and encouraging positive risk taking to enable individuals toupatiate their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and implementation of person‑centred plans.
* Encourage participation in community activities through inclusive and creative approaches.
* Seek opportunities for new experiences and empower positive risk taking.
* Support service users in achieving independence and skill development.
Eligibility & Qualifications
* Registered with CORU or an application to CORU has been submitted.
* On the closing date must be
1. Registered or eligible for registration on the Social Care Workers Register.
2. Hold a Schedule 3 qualification.

3. Hold a comparable qualification recognised by the Social Care Workers Registration Board at CORU.
4. Meet Section 91 conditions and submit proof of application to CORU by 30th November 2025.
* Hold a full clean manual driving licence; a Class D1 licence may be required (support will be provided).
* Desirable: experience working with people with intellectual disability, autism or complex needs correlthus in induction and training will be given.
* Fluency in verbal and written English and proficiency in IT skills.
