Job Description: As a Pharmacy Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Your primary responsibility will be to assist pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with dispensing and preparing prescriptions, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to strict quality control standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Dispensing and preparing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medications, including their uses, side effects, and interactions.
* Ensuring efficient stock control and ordering procedures are followed.
* Managing prescription returns and rejects, as well as processing claims and reclaims.
* Completing all necessary paperwork, including patient charts and medication records.
* Providing support and assistance to pharmacists and other team members as needed.
Requirements:
* A recognized qualification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field.
* At least two years' experience in a pharmacy or related setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Fluency in English, with excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
