This role is based in our HQ office in Santry, Dublin 17, and to travel to other branches within Ireland.What You'll Be DoingQuality Officer objective is to operate as a quality controller for key quality indicators nationally and to ensure that services are being delivered to the highest possible standard, consistent with Comfort Keepers strategy, policy and procedures, and in line with our service contractual obligations.What We're OfferingCompetitive salary DOEWork/Life BalancePermanent, Full-time contractMonday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (Friday option to finish at 16:00)*The opportunity to lead and shape the future of our services.Career progression opportunities and growthA collaborative, supportive work environment focused on making a difference.What You'll Be DoingThe position of the Quality Officer encompasses both governance and administrative responsibilities which include, but are not limited to the following:Ensure upkeep with the requirements of tender and any regulatory body requirements including accreditationsImplement local corrective actions and regulatory compliance plans as required with the operational service delivery team/branches.Meet with Area Managers and Branch Management to communicate progress with Quality KPIs, Initiatives and Regulatory/Audit ComplianceWhere required, develop policies and procedures to ensure support the delivery of best-in-class care services and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in care.Support and ensure adherence to incident management, risk and health and safety management policies across on a national level and report centrally on trends and corrective actions by coordinating investigations, issuing timelines and reviewing reports prior to submission.Facilitate and support the development of Quality Improvement programmes as identified in audit outcomes for continuous quality improvement.Ensure Clinical and Client Services staff are familiar with overall Quality Improvement methodologies through regular education / training sessions.Deliver Quality Improvement Programmes for departments, branches, and individuals to ensure the overall objectives and standards of the Quality and Safety are achieved and maintained.Monitor and report on Quality Improvement Initiates.Participate and compliment external audit programmes where requiredReview incidents and near miss events using a systems analysis approach in collaboration with relevant clinical staff and prepare reports based on the findingsTo be successful in this role, you will require:Great communication skills to ensure each branch and head office are well connected.Competent in managing corrective actions with branches as per reporting outcomesOn-site presence for each location (quality audits and ad hoc training).Strong time managementAbility to work independentlyOperating knowledge of Viclarity is highly desirableEssential Requirements:Min Level 7 qualification in a health care related fieldA minimum of at least 2 years in a quality delivery role.Experience in and understanding of Health Services and working with clients and their families.Strong Knowledge of HSE Service Level Agreements for homecare deliveryExperience of working with statutory and community agencies.Initiative, problem solving and openness to changeIT Systems skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office & Digital Workflows.Clean Driving License and own carThis role requires regular travel to office locations, and Fuel card will be provided to support your work.Why Join Us?At Comfort Keepers, we are passionate about creating better outcomes for our clients and providing a supportive, thriving environment for our staff.
