We are currently partnering with a growing aircraft leasing and investment management business in the Shannon region to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or someone with up to 5 years’ PQE looking to gain broad exposure within a high-performing international business. The role offers strong scope across financial reporting, commercial finance and investment-related activities, making it ideal for someone keen to develop beyond a traditional accounting position.
The company operates a hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
Financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
Support with audits and year-end processes
Involvement in aircraft leasing transactions and investment activities
Cashflow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers
Supporting process improvement initiatives across the finance function
Candidate Profile
Newly qualified accountant or up to 5 years’ PQE
Big 4/Top 10 trained or industry-trained candidates considered
Experience in aircraft leasing, aviation, financial services or investment management advantageous
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Ambitious, adaptable and eager to take on broad responsibility
