As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will be at the forefront of technical support and leadership, ensuring the highest quality standards are met with efficiency. This role involves a dynamic 4-shift cycle, providing a balance of day and night shifts that cater to a variety of lifestyles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Injection Moulding Technician will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
* Oversee the injection moulding process from start-up to shutdown, maintaining safety and production targets.
* Lead the charge in resolving process escalations, applying systematic problem-solving to ensure swift resolution.
* Optimize tool set-up and changeover activities to meet production goals.
* Collaborate with process engineers on new process setups and validation runs, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Injection Moulding Technician, we are looking for the following on your profile and past history:
* A relevant degree or certification in Mechanical / Plastics Engineering or equivalent.
* Proven experience in injection moulding, with a preference for healthcare and high-volume automation.
* Practical experience with a variety of plastics and mould types.
* A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
