You’ll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites’ equipment to make sure it’s working safely. You’ll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You’ll make suggestions for long‑term improvements and work alongside senior colleagues, undertaking day‑to‑day maintenance tasks and liaising with contractors if external expertise is needed. You’ll work on a range of shifts to support our sites around the clock.About the TeamOur RME team keeps our equipment performing at its best. We are a technically minded team of excellent players guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres. From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing general maintenance and repairing key distribution equipment, we handle most aspects of Amazon’s technical side. We keep buildings legally compliant, ensuring safety and maximum efficiency, and offer opportunities for progression within the team or across Amazon. We focus on reducing downtime so customers receive orders on time, often working early or late hours with minimal disruption, including night shifts.
