A market-leading company in Limerick is seeking a Credit Control Team Lead to lead its credit control function.
Job Summary
This is a key leadership role within the finance team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of credit control from cash collection and credit risk to team management and internal stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a dedicated Credit Control team, ensuring timely and effective collections.
* Review and approve new credit applications, manage credit limits, and monitor high-risk accounts.
* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve account queries.
* Provide regular reporting on debtors, aged balances, DSO, and bad debt provisions.
* Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with the company's credit policies.
* Support process improvement projects and coach team members to achieve performance goals.
Requirements
* Proven people management experience - ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
* Strong Excel skills - capable of analysing data and producing clear, actionable reports.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Experience using ERP systems.
* Highly organised with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
