Your new company This professional services company based in the heart of Dublin city, are seeking to expand their team and hire another client accountant to work on their key client accounts.
This firm offers a variety of services, including HR, Consultancy, Compliance and risk, Finance, board and director level support, amongst other functions.
Their client base includes a mixed variety of industry types, start-ups, international firms and other business types that are interested in expert-level support.
This role offers ample opportunity to grow as you complete your exams and gain further experience.
There is an opportunity to grow to director level and work with key clients across the industry.
The office is centrally located in Dublin city, close to various transport options, including train, bus and luas.
Your new role You will be tasked with varied duties including : Prepare accounts from records maintained by the client or client manager; Prepare statutory financial statements from source documents; Prepare CT1 tax returns, VAT3 returns, INTRASTAT/VIES and Payroll returns.
Conduct investigations, examinations, and audits of books and financial records and prepare reports thereof; Maintain essential accounting records and files; Will be required to learn and utilise various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the company; Complete timesheet and other administrative tasks, as appropriate and within set timescales; Attend internal and external training sessions as set by the company; Any other ad hoc duties as they arise.
What you'll need to succeed Those applying must have experience working in a client accounting capacity, ideally within a small - medium-sized practice firm and based in Ireland.
If you do not have Irish practice accounting experience, you will not be considered.
Part Qualified - ACCA or similar, or fully ATI qualified 3+ Years experience in practice within a client accounting firm Experience producing accounts to sign off-stage Expert bookkeeping knowledge Taxation and payroll experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well on your own initiative Fluent written and spoken English is required.
This role cannot offer VISA sponsorship.
To be considered, you must already be fully eligible to work in Ireland.
Those holding student or graduate limited Visa's will not be considered.
What you'll get in return You will be offered a competitive salary of up to 55k based on your level of experience.
This role offers study support to complete remaining exams and further educational support in the future.
You will be eligible for promotion and have the opportunity to work at board and director level to support clients in the coming years.
This role offers hybrid work once fully settled in, but given the industry and client meetings, there will be a focus for office-based work.
