Job Title: Human Resource Generalist
The primary goal of this role is to provide expert support and guidance on human resource matters, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Onboarding: Developing strategies for effective recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding new employees.
* Employee Relations: Managing employee relations issues, including disciplinary procedures and grievance handling.
* Employee Engagement: Collaborating with the management team to foster a positive working environment, through initiatives such as employee wellbeing events and recognition programs.
* Employee Wellbeing: Promoting Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to all staff members and organizing wellbeing events in line with the organization's calendar of events.
* Advising Management: Providing HR expertise to senior management on various HR-related matters, including policy development and implementation.
* Training and Development: Identifying training needs, designing training programs, and delivering training to employees to enhance their skills and performance.
* Performance Management: Overseeing performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and development planning.
* Time and Attendance: Reviewing time and attendance records for payroll administration purposes.
Requirements:
* A degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in generalist HR roles, with expertise in advising managers on HR-related matters.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and reach practical solutions.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience using HR systems is an asset.
