Mechanical AP – Mechanical Engineer – Ap project in Cork, Ireland
Overview
Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects across Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics and the UK. They are recruiting a Mechanical AP to work on a current project in Cork. Responsibilities
* Issue and control LOTO permits
* Plan isolations
* Execute isolations and removal of isolations
* Accept and approve energisation requests
* Manage subcontractors and required site personnel
* Attend meetings with clients, sub‑contractors, project teams to support mechanical systems delivery
* Assist with ensuring a safe work environment
* Have full responsibility for enrolment of Authenticated Persons and implementation of Dornan COHE
* Ensure certificates and reports are issued for all completed mechanical works to GDP standard
* Ensure information, instruction, training and supervision are provided to all employees, subcontractors and third parties related to Dornan COHE
* Manage mechanical safety systems including LOTO
* Assist the project team in producing as‑built documentation and the Health & Safety File
* Assist with quality control inspections of mechanical systems
* Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by your manager
Qualifications
* 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
* Detailed knowledge of the Authorised Person role
* Health, Safety and Environmental knowledge
* Commercial understanding
* Knowledge of team strengths and weaknesses
