Locum Consultant Old Age Psychiatry Position

* A position is available for a Specialist in Locum Consultant Old Age Psychiatry at Kilkenny Mental Health Services.

This role requires transport to cover for several weeks and experience with this specialty or similar roles. The successful candidate will need IMC registration, the right to work in Ireland, and minimum six months of experience.

As a specialist in old age psychiatry, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients who are 65 years of age or older. You will also contribute to the development of mental health services within Kilkenny Mental Health Services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists etc., as well as community teams such as family support networks..

1. You must have Specialist Registration.
2. The ability to drive an automobile.
3. Data-driven management skills( whether hardcopy documents /filing/ ,computer software/electronic storage/or digital medium/file exchange.) -depending on your personal preference (as required)
