Quality Technician - Limerick - 12-Month Contract
With worldwide demand for their life-changing oncology treatment increasing; one of our global pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Quality Technician to join their team to support multiple capital projects taking place onsite in Carlow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a state-of-the art fill-finish facility and the company's first stand-alone vaccine and biologics plant outside the US.
Role Summary:
1. Perform any assigned aspect of routine testing in support of manufacturing and batch release with high quality of documentation RFT and technical writing.
2. Perform data review of microbiological test data from utilities and environmental monitoring samples. Other data review may be performed in line with experience level and SME knowledge.
3. Clearly demonstrate the organisational skills to manage all aspects of a given assay e.g., controls/reference, standard stock control etc
4. Ensure SOPs/forms are up to date with latest requirements and improvements/optimisation's/lean.
5. Support process simulations.
6. Work as part of a team.
7. Demonstrate awareness of safety for self and others in all aspects of work
8. Understand analysis of data generated in the lab.
9. Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards.
10. Strong scientific and GMP documentation skills
Must Have's:
11. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry (within Microbiology) – preferable in sterile manufacturing microbiology lab environment
12. Knowledge of cGMP and GDP
13. Laboratory Quality Systems
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications required.
15. Understanding of Lean six Sigma Methodology preferred
16. Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in science related discipline.
