We are looking for a Specification Sales Engineer to join our team. The role is field-based and involves developing both existing and new customer relationships to deliver our business plan within your assigned area. You will work closely with consultants, installers, and key partners to identify project opportunities and provide technical support using Panasonic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage with consultants, architects, contractors, and installers.
Develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
Build strong relationships with specifiers, design offices, and installers.
Support customers in designing projects using Panasonic solutions.
Deliver product and software training to installers and consultants.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Track and manage project pipelines using Salesforce.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates.
Support projects from initial sale through to installation and commissioning.
Gather and share market insights with Product Managers.
Contribute to strategy and suggest improvements to support business goals.
Required Experience and Qualifications
A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
3–5 years’ experience in a similar B2B business development role.
Technical understanding of products, systems or solutions.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good planning and analytical abilities.
Awareness of relevant legislation and industry standards.
Willingness to travel.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Commercial mindset and awareness of market trends.
Location & Travel
Location: Ireland – Midland’s area (field based). National travel will be required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: dependent on experience
