Staff/ Senior Grade Cardiac Physiologists are required by Cpl Healthcare inMidland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise in partnership with the HSE within both Community & Hospital Settings.
Senior Cardiac Physiologist – long term placement
Staff Grade Cardiac Physiologist – min 6 months placement.
The Cardiac Physiologist will:
• Perform or assist withthe following procedures:
Resting ECG
Exercise treadmill testing, both medical and Physiologist led
Fit and analyse of ambulatory ECG and BP recordings
Pacemaker and ICD/CRT follow-up and reporting of same
Transthoracic echocardiography and report on same
Assist with transoesophageal echocardiography
Assist with Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography
Report procedure findings and highlighting abnormal findings
Vetting of Cardiology diagnostic tests
