Job description An Pucan is recruiting for a Commis Chef to join their team. While doing so prevent cross contamination and follow dish specifications while exercising portion control. Preparing foods which involves chopping vegetables, stocking stations, organizing ingredients and partly cooking some foods Abide by all the HACCP procedures in place To report any problems to the Supervisor/Manager on duty during your shift To conserve energy where possible i.e. gas, equipment, lights and manage waste To carry out all cleaning duties of service areas and equipment and procedures as directed by the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Management To assist with preparation for stocktaking / assist with stocktaking. To check deliveries when requested. Goods received must correspond with the order book and delivery note; Quality of produce; Correct temperature.
