Health & Safety Advisor – DublinLocation:On-site / Dublin, IrelandJob Type:Permanent / Full-timeSector:Engineering / Health & SafetySalary:NegotiableThe RoleMy client is currently looking for an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.The successful candidate will support the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a Health and Safety perspective. A strong ethos on health and safety, compliance, reporting, and documentation are essential qualities.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDeliver health and safety training to employees (e.g., manual handling, toolbox talks, safety inductions).Conduct safety inspections and audits.Promote accident prevention and environmental protection through proactive measures.Prepare reports on incidents and provide statistical data to management.Implement the company's health, safety, and environmental policies and systems.Maintain Health & Safety KPIs to drive continuous improvement.Support the development of H&S procedures, policies, and programs.Collaborate with the HSQE team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.Continuously improve Health & Safety standards across the company and project sites.Monitor and enforce the Health & Safety Management System.Identify and address site-specific hazards in documentation and practice.Maintain clear communication with the H&S Manager.Ensure site folders and statutory records are up to date.Enforce strict adherence to site rules.Assist site management with statutory H&S compliance.Support the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe systems of work.Coordinate safe systems of work with site management and contractors.Conduct on-site H&S audits and address non-conformances.Contribute to accident and incident investigations.Identify training needs for personnel and contractors.Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the business.The Candidate: Required Experience and CompetenciesFull clean driver's license (essential).3rd level qualification in Health and Safety (desirable).Experience in civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity).Confident, motivated, and capable of working independently and in a team.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong time management and organizational skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.High integrity and respect for confidentiality.Strong relationship-building skills across stakeholders and statutory bodies.Risk management and control implementation capabilities.Ability to work effectively with contractors from diverse backgrounds.How to Apply:If interested in this position, please apply with your CV by email tofor more informationCAMPAIGN: INDWHITE
