Head Chef Opportunity
Description of the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our culinary team in a vibrant South Dublin venue. As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy hotel or upmarket restaurant. They should possess excellent financial acumen, with a proven track record in achieving high gross profit margins and controlled food costs.
In addition to menu planning and management, we require someone who can lead by example, motivate staff, and maintain open communication channels throughout the kitchen. A strong passion for cooking is essential, along with creativity and innovation when developing menus that showcase local produce.
Responsibilities:
* To be responsible for all aspects of food preparation and presentation
* Lead recruitment/training/development of new & existing staff members
* Create menu plans that exceed customer expectations while minimizing wastage & maintaining HACCP standards
