Responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and improving manufacturing automation systems within a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring system performance, compliance, and reliability.

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Automation, Robotics, Computer Science or related) or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of Experience in GMP manufacturing environments
Experience with industrial automation systems
Experience with at least one of: Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi automation platforms
Knowledge of GxP/QA requirements
Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and/or Annex 11
Desirable Requirements
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Knowledge of GAMP or ANSI/ISA standards
Familiarity with ISPE standards
Experience with data analysis
Experience contributing to automation strategy or roadmap
Experience mentoring or training others
Responsibilities
Maintain and optimise automation systems to ensure uptime and performance
Manage user access, backups, and system restores
Implement corrective actions and liaise with vendor technical support
Execute small-scale automation improvement projects
Support capital projects, including planning, execution, and documentation
Ensure compliance with site and corporate quality systems
Create and maintain engineering documentation and test scripts
Develop and implement automation standardisation strategies
Deliver automation solutions for manufacturing processes
Drive automation projects to meet cost, schedule, and technical targets
