Child Development Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team in County Dublin. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of positive attachments through relationship building with children and young people.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, trauma-informed care to young people. This will involve working closely with colleagues to develop and implement care plans that promote the well-being and resilience of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* To build and maintain positive relationships with children and young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
* To contribute to the assessment, planning, and delivery of individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
* To participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of care plans that prioritize the needs of the child or young person.
* To engage in activities that promote the social, emotional, and educational development of children and young people, such as group work and therapeutic activities.
Requirements:
* A full manual driving license is required for this role.
* At least 6 months of experience in a related field, such as social care or youth work.
* Registration in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by CORU or eligibility for registration.
* Requisite knowledge and ability to discharge the duties of office effectively.
