The Corporate Sales Executive reporting into our Group Sales and Marketing Manager will deliver a high level of support and conduct detailed research to ensure the Sales Team has the most up to date information required to grow and attract new business to the hotel.
Proactive Sales Research
Research, identify and actively source new business leads for the hotel.
Identify business that has been lost over the years and develop a strategy to win this business back.
Be proactive in contacting leads via online platforms, telephone and face to face meetings as required.
Market research to be conducted with the corporate transient market and business groups to identify market trends and opportunities.
Contribute and assist in sales strategies throughout the year.
Observe hotels in our competitive set and ensure we are offering same level of service.
Participate in local, regional and national activities including trade shows, networking events, presentations etc as required.
Assist and support the Business Development Manager.
Attend networking events as required.
Reactive Sales Support
Maintain a high level of support in Account Management for the hotel.
Assist and respond to daily Corporate enquiries / RFPs and quote rates as per Group Sales and Marketing Manager.
Site inspections / show arounds of hotel facilities will be an important part of the role.
Assist with all Sales & Marketing activities required for the hotel.
Attending daily operations meetings.
Participating in hotel committees as required.
Reporting and Administration
Monitor, track and maintain existing business within the hotel and ensure all data is reported to the Sales Team.
Complete weekly and monthly reports.
Monitor competitor activity in terms of pricing & yield strategies.
Maintain Opera to ensure profiles and rates are correct.
Set up new Corporate Accounts.
Customer feedback received to be tracked & communicated to relevant departments.
Ensure Guest Relations Team is aware of Corporate and VIP business at the hotel.
Support and participate in AI developments within the hotel.

The successful candidate will be required to have
Excellent customer care skills.
Reservations, Reception or Sales experience from similar style properties.
Experience in Opera or another Front Office Management system.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on their own initiative.
Demonstrate been able to work in a Team.
Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
