Who We’re Looking For;
We are seeking a Business Operations Manager—an experienced operational leader with strong people-management skills and a commercial, solutions-focused mindset.
As an Operations Manager you will ensure the smooth, efficient day-to-day running of the Dublin West office, deliver high-quality home care services, and support the team in meeting operational, compliance, and client-service standards. This role is key to driving caregiver engagement, excellent client outcomes, and effective coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

Oversee the daily operations of the Donegal office, ensuring efficient coordination and scheduling of care services.
Lead, mentor, and support the Scheduling, Care Management, and Administrative teams.
Drive operational excellence through monitoring of KPIs, service levels, and team performance
Ensure timely resolution of operational issues and elevate only where appropriate.

Client & Caregiver Experience

Maintain high-quality client care standards and manage client feedback, complaints, and service improvements.
Build strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners throughout the Donegal region.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations, internal policies, and contractual standards.
Monitor documentation, care plans, and reporting to maintain accuracy and regulatory readiness.

Staffing & Workforce Planning

Work closely with the Talent &HR Team to forecast staffing needs based on client demand.
Support the onboarding, integration, and development of caregivers and office team members.

Business & Operational Strategy

Contribute to local and national initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
Analyse trends, identify risks, and propose solutions to enhance office performance.

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in operations management, healthcare, hospitality, or related service-based sectors.
Strong people-management experience, with a track record of leading diverse teams.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the Donegal region.
Experience in home care, healthcare regulation, or community services.
Familiarity with Scheduling/Rostering CRM systems such as Alayacare, CarePlanner, People Planner or similar.
Background in client service, complaint handling, or quality assurance
