Senior Operations Planning Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Planning Specialist to join our team in Ireland. As a key member of our Life Sciences operations, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of planning, reporting, and analytical tools for our Tech Ops organisation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or scientific field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Software Packages inclusive of MS Project is essential, with knowledge and experience with Oracle Primavera being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement planning, reporting, and analytical tools for Tech Ops organisation.
* Chair weekly planning & scheduling focused meetings.
* Track and control plan vs actual, providing accurate reports.
* Ensure compliance with current IOPS cGxP's (e.g. Good Manufacturing Processes, Good Documentation Practices etc.).
* Maintain inspection readiness.
* Create clear and tangible work plans to enable technician execution.
* Interact with CMMS system, grouping and sorting large data sets into executable packages of work.
* Level load and resource planned work-fronts.
* Highlight schedule issues and constraints, proposing potential mitigations.
* Roll-up and summarise detailed schedules – tailor for specific audience.
* Establish KPIs and track/report for specific function.
* Engage with cross-functional groups for schedule development and forward planning.
Requirements:
* BS/BA in engineering or scientific related field or relevant trade qualification along with 5+ years of experience in similar position.
* Proficient knowledge & use with Microsoft Suite of Software Packages inclusive of MS Project.
* Knowledge & experience with Oracle Primavera.
