ABOUT THE ROLE
Senior finance leadership role with responsibility for financial stewardship, commercial insight, and business performance across a complex operating environment.
Acts as a core member of the senior management team, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering closely with group-level stakeholders.
Delivers clear, timely financial insight to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and operational decision-making.
Partners with sales and operations to drive profitability, pricing discipline, and commercial effectiveness.
Full ownership of the finance function, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
Leads cashflow forecasting and working capital management, optimising inventory, debtors, and creditors while supporting banking relationships.
Drives continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, controls, and data quality to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Leads and develops the finance team, setting clear objectives and fostering a high‑performance, collaborative finance culture.
ABOUT THE PERSON
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post‑qualification experience in a senior finance or financial controller role.
Strong background in financial reporting, governance, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
Proven experience in commercial finance and business partnering within complex, operationally driven environments.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial analysis into clear, actionable business insight.
Confident, credible communicator with strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
Demonstrates high standards of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, operating in line with health, safety, compliance, and organisational values.
