OverviewExperienced Veterinary Surgeons – Multiple Locations Across IrelandWe are working with a well-established and growing small animal veterinary group in Ireland (approximately 30 clinics nationwide) that continues to invest in modern facilities and high clinical standards. They are currently seeking Experienced Veterinary Surgeons (minimum 2 years’ experience) to join friendly and supportive teams in multiple locations across Ireland, including the Greater Dublin area and other attractive regional towns and cities. This is an excellent opportunity for EU-qualified vets looking to progress their careers in a modern, well-organised veterinary group with a strong focus on high-quality medicine and patient care.
The Role

Depending on experience and interests, the role will involve:
Small animal medicine and surgery
Routine and emergency procedures appropriate to experience
Diagnostic work-ups and case management
Working to high clinical and welfare standards
Collaboration with colleagues to deliver excellent patient care

You will work alongside experienced vets, qualified nurses and support staff in a collaborative and professional environment.
Facilities & Clinical Environment
Facilities vary by location, but clinics are generally modern and well equipped, with access to a range of diagnostic and surgical equipment appropriate to small animal practice. Depending on the clinic, this may include some or all of the following:

Digital X-ray and ultrasound
Dental radiography / dental suite
In-house biochemistry and haematology
Surgical and preparation areas
Separate dog and cat wards

There is a strong emphasis on:

Evidence-based veterinary medicine
Thorough diagnostics
High standards of patient care
Teamwork and case discussion

Development & Support

CPD is supported and encouraged
Opportunities to continue developing clinical skills

Structured and well-run practices

Salary
Competitive permanent contract with salary depending on experience (typically in the region of €45,000 – €70,000 per annum DOE).

Candidate Requirements

EU-qualified Veterinary Surgeon
Minimum 2 years’ experience in small animal practice
Confident in routine medicine and at least basic surgery
Motivated, reliable and committed to high clinical standards
A genuine team player
Good working level of English (C1 level)
Eligible for registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland
