Role Overview
Dexcom Rugby Stadium is a leading sports and events venue, known for hosting high-calibre rugby matches, events, and corporate functions. The stadium includes a vibrant café and versatile event spaces that can cater up to 800 people making it one of the largest venues of its kind in the West of Ireland. Master Chefs are now seeking an experienced and driven Conference & Banqueting Manager to lead the delivery of events at this venue.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the setup, execution, and breakdown of all C&B functions on-site
· Ensure smooth delivery of events for up to 800 guests, maintaining high standards in food, Service, and presentation
· Coordinate closely with chefs, bar staff, and service teams to deliver events on time and to specification
· Maintain a strong floor presence during key events to ensure service standards are met and exceeded
· Lead and manage the C&B service team, including supervisors, waiting staff, and porters
· Develop staff rotas and resource planning based on event schedules and operational demands
· Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
· Serve as the main point of contact for clients on the day of events, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
· Work collaboratively with the stadium's event coordination team and Master Chefs' management
· Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs with clients and internal teams
· Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations
· Uphold Master Chefs' brand standards across all touchpoints of the guest experience
· Monitor cleanliness, layout, and presentation of event spaces
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years in a similar Conference & Banqueting Manager or Senior Events Operations role
* Experience managing high-volume events (300+ guests) in a hotel, stadium, or large venue setting
* Strong leadership and staff management skills
* Excellent organisational, communication, and time management abilities
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and match/event days as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €45,000.00 per year
