Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide on-site technical support at a corporate office environment in Dublin. The role will support day-to-day IT operations, including hardware management, user support, and infrastructure tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site IT support and coverage at the Dublin office location
Carry out hardware handovers to end users
Perform patching and cabling tasks (LAN and AV equipment)
Rebuild PCs using standard Windows images
Conduct inventory checks (e.g. laptops, peripherals, and other IT assets)
Manage asset movements within the office (e.g. storage, lockers)
Handle logistics and shipments, including:
Sending and receiving equipment for remote users
Service Model
Support provided during standard working days and hours
On-demand support model where on-site presence is requested as needed (Next Business Day SLA)
Key Requirements
Good understanding of IT fundamentals, including:
Network patching and cabling
Windows OS installation and configuration
AV and meeting room technologies
Strong organisational and asset management skills
Ability to work independently and respond to on-demand requests
Good communication and customer service skills
