Project Cost Manager - Ireland and UK
Our client is a medium sized Chartered Quantity Surveying practice, delivering strong, innovative and honest project and cost management solutions across all sections in Ireland and the UK.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage our projects across Ireland and the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-contract cost control and advice to Design Teams & Clients, pre-contract document preparation, and post contract functions including interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, final account reconciliations.
* Estimating & Cost Planning – reporting directly to Clients
* Preparing Bills of Quantities, Buildsoft & Cubit
* Compiling Contract Documentation
* Preparing Cost Reports
* Preparing Monthly Valuations
* Preparation and Agreement of Final Accounts
* Review and Resolve Contractual Claims
* Attend Meetings with Clients and Design Team Members
* Assist in training and development of assistant and junior surveyors
Requirements:
Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor
Chartered status is preferable but not mandatory
The candidate should be commercially aware and have ambition to progress within the organisation.
It will be necessary to have the drive and determination to manage strict budgets to ensure the commercial success of projects
Package:
€50K - €65K, depending on level of experience and negotiable for the right candidate.
