Established manufacturing companies require skilled professionals to oversee the assembly of custom machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for building mechanical and electrical components, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
This is a hands-on, full-time position suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude and stock management experience. Key responsibilities include assembling machines, managing parts inventory, and carrying out service and maintenance on both in-house and occasional on-site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build custom machinery
* Service and maintain machines in line with company standards and customer requirements
* Manage stock levels of parts and tools, ensuring inventory is tracked and replenished as needed
* Perform routine quality checks to ensure machines are built and functioning to spec
* Liaise with clients and team members to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly role
* A mechanical or electrical qualification is advantageous but not essential – relevant hands-on experience will be considered
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Full, clean driving license may be required for servicing work
