As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a key role in providing high-quality person-centred care to residents. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with strong leadership skills and experience in older persons care or nursing home care.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a recognised managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications) and at least 3 years' post-registration experience in a relevant field.

You will also require clinical experience working in older persons care or nursing home care, as well as working experience of HIQA Standards and Health Act Regulations 2013. Fluency in English language (verbal and written) and eligibility to work in Ireland are also essential requirements.

In addition to your technical skills and qualifications, you will need to possess strong communication and listening skills, as well as the ability to work well as part of a care team. A caring and compassionate attitude, passion for providing high-quality care, and basic knowledge of IT systems such as excel spreadsheets are also required.
