The Person
EZ Living Furniture are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant/Recently Qualified Accountant who will be based in our Head Office in Galway city.
Job Responsibilities
Full responsibility for two group companies, including, but not limited to:
Processing invoices, payments & expenses in multiple currencies.
Managing VAT, VIES & Intrastat filings.
Performing bank reconciliations & maintaining the general ledger.
Preparing monthly management accounts.
Liaising with auditors on year‑end accounts.
Group responsibilities to include
Preparing budgets for various departments & variance analysis.
Collaborating cross‑departmentally with various stakeholders to resolve budget variances.
Conducting departmental cost reviews.
Liaising with internal stakeholders on various queries.
Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required.
Skills/Qualifications
Qualified Accounting Technician/Part Qualified Accountant desirable.
Knowledge and experience in using accounting software.
Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel.
The candidate should be a high‑energy individual with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and independently, and good interpersonal skills.
