Business Analyst Role
Our client based in Cork City is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong testing background to support ongoing financial system enhancement projects.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and IT, translating requirements into clear deliverables while ensuring functionality is tested and validated before release.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for system changes.
2. Evaluate system impacts and process dependencies across multiple business areas.
3. Create and maintain test scenarios and test cases for functional and regression testing.
4. Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Present analysis and test results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Essential skills include five years of experience in business analysis or functional analysis roles, proven experience in software testing, excellent analytical documentation communication skills familiarity Agile ways working knowledge UML modelling techniques certifications Business Analysis Testing beneficial fluency English required additional languages advantageous.
