Role Overview
In this role you will be part of the Unify programme whose purpose is to have a unified and transparent customer management platform (cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365) across our Insurance Division which aligns to our philosophy of "One Irish Life". Unify will simplify and standardise customer engagement and this role will be responsible for developing KPI reporting during the agile implementation of the new platform. You will have the opportunity to develop insightful analysis as the programme delivers and enhances existing capability across the Irish Life businesses.
Team Background
* This role sits within our Unify Programme within the PMO team reporting to Unify Finance lead
* This team has responsibility for developing financial & non financial KPI reporting as the programme delivers capability to the business.
* Working with the PMO team, Product & Business owners to agree Value targets and supporting KPI's which will roll up from system Capability Level to a standard set of Value KPI's across the Program
* The Unify programme is made up of 6 workstreams, of which the PMO team works with and across each of the other workstreams, implementing governance, monitoring finance and developing the Value Framework reporting.
More specific responsibilities will include
* Gaining an understanding of Irish Life's current customer reporting of KPIs, data sources, products and business processes within the company.
* Participate in showcase of best practice for in scope process focusing on areas to enhance through standardization and use of OOTB capability. Areas for automation and AI assistance are measured.
* Participate in process re-engineering workshops to build out target end state. Measuring existing pain points versus target end state and associated value
* Working with product owners to confirm the lower level KPIs are captured, targets agreed with Value Owners and KPI reporting is developed and published.
* Review Design Authority submissions for each capability review, identifying core KPIs to demonstrate the value associated with each feature delivery.
* Participate in each Product iteration stage gates, focussing on Value and reporting
* Develop Unify standard monthly KPI dashboard for publishing
* Collaborating within the PMO team and wider Unify workstreams
What you will need to be successful in the role
The ideal candidate will have:
* An IT, Data Science, Actuarial or Mathematical based 3rd level degree, or relevant business or technical experience.
* Experience in analytical and programming tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
* Knowledge of the fundamentals of AI and machine learning and experience in using machine learning algorithms.
* An analytical and enquiring mind, with the ability to find a solution to complex problems.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to tell the story behind data to our clients and present on this effectively.
* An ability to plan and organise their work, communicate progress and meet project deadlines.
* Experience in data modelling and data analytics as part of a project.
* Fundamental skills and knowledge in database structures and concepts.
* The capability to work on their own initiative in a demanding environment.
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
