We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Specialist / Systems Engineer to lead the technical delivery of medium to large scale enterprise projects for a top company in Ireland.Responsibilities:Design, deploy and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS services, and to ensure best-practice and value for money are being achieved within our Azure environments.Design corresponding on-premises infrastructureLead engineer/architect level individual who has seen & completed migrations of on-premise workloads to Azure (AD, Exchange, Office 365).Produce, review & sign-off on infrastructure, cloud & security designs including relevant project artefacts.Lead the technical implementation of infrastructure, cloud & security solutions and projects.Conduct in-depth environment analysis to identify new projects, improve processes & increase our security posture.Identify emerging technologies which may be utilised to better deliver IT services.Validate third-party infrastucture, cloud and security project proposals to ensure that they meet technical standards and business requirements.Knowledge transfer & training to relevant service team.Provide input into overall architecture and security roadmap.Experience:Relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related area.Minimum 6 years technical experience in large enterprise IT environment.A strong track record in technically leading the delivery of complex solutions.Architecting, designing, and building Cloud solutions to business requirements in accordance with enterprise application and technology roadmaps, principles, standards, and guidelines.Developing and maintenance of cloud-based IP.Experience working with third-party infrastructure, cloud, and security vendors.The ability to lead technology proposals and define technology solutions.Strong Microsoft Azure skillset including Azure Automation and PowerShell ScriptingDeveloping migration strategies to move key application workloads into the Cloud.Desirable but non-mandatory certifications include:Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions ArchitectVMware Certified Professional / VMware Certified Advanced ProfessionalTOGAF, CompTIA Linux+.For more info you can contact me at -
