Our client
is seeking an experienced
Senior EHS Advisor
to join their team in
Cork
, supporting projects across the
commercial and pharmaceutical sectors
.
This is a mobile role with the potential to work across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain Environmental Health & Safety policies and systems
Provide expert guidance to management, employees, and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legislation and best practices
Deliver site inductions and health & safety training
Develop and review EHS documentation including risk assessments and method statements
Conduct regular site audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are taken
Investigate incidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-up
Maintain EHS records, reports, and registers
Support site teams with Toolbox Talks and EHS initiatives
Prepare Safety Files for client handover
Requirements
Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field
Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar role
Experience on large-scale construction projects
Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
