Risk Management Technical Lead Lead the development and implementation of Uisce Éireann Irish Water's organisational risk management framework, policy and reporting systems.
Report risk profiles to the Board and ensure resilience policies minimise the impact of business continuity and crisis events.
Responsibilities Work with Risk Technical Managers to review and challenge the risk profile within business areas and ensure mitigation plans are in place.
Co‑ordinate organisation‑wide risk reports to Executive and Board level committees.
Develop and complete ad hoc risk reports and presentations as required.
Assist in rolling out the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategy and deliver key risk and resilience projects.
Design and implement the overall risk management framework and processes for Uisce Éireann.
Develop and coordinate assurance schedules for business continuity and crisis management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop reporting dashboards.
Support a culture of risk awareness and engage risk management at all organisational levels.
Ensure the risk framework is embedded in risk management processes across all business areas.
Qualifications At least 5 years' experience in a risk management or governance role in a comparable organisation.
Relevant third‑level qualification.
Experience in developing or implementing Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
Experience in a regulated industry or utility company is an advantage.
Strong influencing skills and ability to maintain strategic relationships.
Proven track record of dealing with complex issues and communicating complex information.
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and analyse problems and propose solutions.
Highly motivated and able to deliver results to the highest professional standards.
