Our client is a well-established, owner-managed accountancy practice based in North Dublin, serving a loyal portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. As part of an ongoing evolution of the firm, they are now seeking to appoint a
Part-Qualified Accountant
to support the delivery of audit and accounts services, with a longer-term focus on audit-exempt and advisory work.
This role would suit an ambitious part-qualified professional looking to complete their training in a supportive, hands-on environment with strong exposure across accounts preparation, audit, and client interaction.
The Role
The Successful Candidate Will Work Closely With The Partner And Senior Team Across a Broad Client Portfolio And Will Be Involved In
* Assisting on statutory audit engagements from planning through to completion
* Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies and owner-managed businesses
* Exposure to audit-exempt assignments and year-end accounts preparation
* Preparation of management accounts and supporting schedules
* Liaising directly with clients and responding to routine queries
* Supporting workflow management and meeting key deadlines
* Assisting with tax compliance work (corporate and personal) where required
Over time, the role will naturally develop towards
accounts, compliance, and advisory-focused work
, in line with the firm's strategic move away from statutory audit.
Candidate Profile
* Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (actively pursuing exams)
* Previous experience in a small or medium-sized practice environment
* Exposure to audit and accounts preparation essential
* Strong technical fundamentals with a willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
* Organised, dependable, and comfortable working in a close-knit team
