Support Pharmacist – Part-Time
Maguire's Pharmacy is a well-established, family-run pharmacy serving the local community with a strong focus on patient care, professionalism and teamwork. We are currently seeking a Support Pharmacist to join our team for 3 days per week.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a close-knit team and support the day-to-day running of the dispensary, ensuring the highest standards of professional practice and customer care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Safe, accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions in line with PSI guidelines and pharmacy SOPs
* Providing professional OTC advice and patient counselling
* Supporting customers with expert clinical advice and care-focused solutions
* Assisting with the day-to-day management of the dispensary, including stock control and date monitoring
* Supporting end-of-month claims and payments
* Working collaboratively with the pharmacy team to deliver excellent service
* Participating in staff training and supporting ongoing team development
* Maintaining high professional, clinical, ethical and operational standards at all times
Working Hours & Benefits
* Part-time role: 3 days per week (every other Saturday)

Candidate Requirements
* Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible to register
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong professional ethos with good clinical knowledge
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Organised, reliable and patient-focused
