Support Workers
We are seeking experienced professionals to join a team of support staff in delivering care services to adults with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs.
Care is delivered in community-based environments across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide. We strive to provide person-centred care that transforms lives.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care. You must also have one year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as experience working with challenging behaviours.
You will need to have a strong working knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults, hold a full, clean manual driver's license, and have availability of your own car for this post.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualised care and support to service users.
* Develop and implement plans to meet ongoing needs of individuals supported.
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
* Participate in continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
